If you are using the Random Character settings, these fun new Characters will just show on your eBay Listings... you don't have to do a thing.  If you are using the Injection Tool you can check box any of these new Characters and update your current listings. 

If you have copied the Widget Code into your templates, you can check out the Frequently Asked Questions area in your dashboard to get the codes you will need if you want to call one or more Characters.  Make sure you use the new Version 2.0 Widget Code that was just released.  This more compact code works fantastic on all types of browsers and over comes any recent issues with Internet Explorer.

We had another great day of shooting in the new Rich Interactive Video studio here at our corporate offices at deal4it.com  The professional lighting, sound, video and editing equipment is working out fantastic.

Today we shot video of RIV Actor Elisa Vasquez.  You know Elisa as Nicki So Sweet.

Elisa did a great job on a few of the new auction videos and also on a whole new character called Sabrina. 

Sabrina is a young gal that is a lot of fun and she is also known by her friends as the "Click Chick!"  If you ask her, she will tell you that she does ALL her stuff online: dating, research, watches movies and of course she shops online!

We are learning more and more each day from different eBay sellers that are using the Rich Interactive Video on their eBay listings. Here are a few things we would like to pass on:

1. Using the Best Offer selling method is working extremely well for many eBay sellers. You will want to play with your pricing.  What’s important is that you have atleast a 10% difference from the Buy It Now price and the hidden Auto Accept price. The more you are willing to “deal” on price, the better it seems to people. We are hearing from several eBay Sellers they had very little or no luck on using the “Best Offer” until they added the Rich Interactive Video to their listings.

2. Use the subtitle feature on eBay when you are adding a new listing. Yes this adds a few extra cents to your listing fees with eBay, but you want to sell your item!  Here are some of the subtitles that others are trying now:

Make me any offer!
Have fun dealing with entertaining actors to get you a great price!
Make any offer. Have fun making deal with fun actors!
MUST SELL! Make me any offer please!
Make an offer with a Ninja! If you dare!
You can make me any offer. Try your luck!
Need to sell today. Make any offer!!!
Offer me a dollar! See what happens! ;)
Am I crazy? Make any offer. Must sell today!

3. For eBay auctions we are now adding new video that will address different situations like:

No bids. “Be the first to bid…”
One bid. “Looks like the bidding has just begun. Make your bid…”
Several bids. “Wow this looks like a popular item. Get in there and make your bid!...”
Less than 24 hours. “Hmm.. looks like this auction will be ending soon. If you have not yet placed a bid…”
Less than 60 minutes. “Time is almost out on this auction. If you are not the top bidder you are going to miss out…”

We will be publishing links to each of these videos so you can see them for yourself. If you would like to be notified when the links are live, send us an email at info@deal4it.com and also include any ideas or requests that you have for different and/or new characters!

4. Use a particular character for your item. The Rich Interactive Video added to your eBay Listings is designed as a default to show random different characters each time. You can select just a certain character or you can select multiple characters if you wish.

In the “Dashboard” area you will see the “Frequently Asked Questions” button. Click on that.
Scroll through all the FAQ and on the second page you will see how to select certain characters.

We are working hard right now on a brand new tool that will make it very easy for you to select which listings you want to insert the widget code on, and also what characters you want to show. It will also make it very easy for you to change you Best Offer “Auto Accept” and “Auto Decline prices. We will send out an announcement to all users as soon as this tool is ready for you!

5. If you were having declining sales before you added the Rich Interactive Video, what was the cause of that?

1. Declining visits to your listings?
   More competition now? How is your feedback rating? Keep up with eBay changes!
   
2. How good is your Listing Title? 
   You only have 55 characters and you need to think like you were your customer "searching" for your item.  Use keywords!  Words like "and" "or" "the" "in" etc. do not add search value. Your title does not have to make gramatical sense.
   
3. How are your photos?
   Good quality photos and several of them always help!
4. How is your Item Description?
   Are you spending enough time creating excellent item descriptions?
5. Sales Copy?
   Are you doing more than just “telling” people about your item?  You need to "sell" with emotions!  Don't just focus on features, sell your buyer on all of the benefits they will receive by owning your great item!  More than 70% of all buyers buy on emotions - don't you?!
   

Rich Interactive Video placed on an eBay listing can increase your sales. But remember the videos are designed to set you apart from other sellers, add fun to your listings, and to help get your buyers to take action.
